Helen C. Wallace, 95 of Winfield, MD
Died Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Carroll Lutheran Village.
She was the spouse of the late Donald Joseph “Whitey” Wallace.
Mrs. Wallace was born June 6, 1920 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of late Ferdinand I. Muth and later Florence (Peddicord) Muth.
She was a Beautician when younger and later retired from the Social Security Administration. Mrs. Wallace was a life member of Winfield Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, working with ceramics and spending time with family.
Beloved mother of Donna B. and husband Jerry Mantlo of Winfield, MD, David F. and wife Judy A. Wallace of Littlestown, PA. Devoted sister of the late Bernadine Ritz. Loving grandmother of Jerry P. Mantlo, John D. Mantlo and Jennifer Propst. Dear great-grandmother of Christopher Mantlo, Thomas, Mantlo, Kristina Propst, and Steven Propst. Also survived by cousins Jeanne Barnhardt and Helene Wallace both of Mason City, Iowa. Preceded in death by nephew Raymond Hood.
