Howard F. “Uncle Howard” Duvall, age 77, of Woodbine, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at University Of MD Hospital , Baltimore , MD. He was born November 6, 1929 in Howard County, MD the son of the late William Duvall and the late Pearl Crabb Duvall. He was the husband of Betty E. Duvall (nee Condon). He was a tractor trailer driver for Eastern Express for 25 years. He served in the United States Army from July 6, 1951 to August 6, 1959 as a Corporal He loved horse racing and people. He loved playing cards and reading and writing. He was a member of the teamsters local union 557 in Baltimore . He was the godfather of Judy and Tony Gartrell of Woodbine and Sandy and Bill Starner of Mt. Airy . Brother of Mary Hatfield of Eldersburg and the late Calvin and Harry Duvall, Rosie Smith, Pauline Colson and Betty Haines. Special Uncle to Justin and Joshua Gartrell and Corey and Cody Starner. Funeral Service will be held Saturday March 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road , Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Pastor David Schafer of St. Benjamin’s Lutheran Church in Westminster officiating. Interment with military honors will be in Morgan Chapel U.M. Church Cemetery , Woodbine, MD. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA 1212 W.
