Howard Hopple

Howard Eugene “Sonny” Hopple, 83 of Mt. Airy, MD, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at home.
He was the beloved spouse of the late Rosella “Rose” Elizabeth Hopple (nee Taylor).
Mr. Hopple was born May 17, 1938, in Lewistown, PA the son of the late Carl Hopple and the late Mary Hopple (nee Aurand)
He was a lineman for AT & T. Was an active coach for M.A.Y.A.A. for Football and Baseball. Howard enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a competitive Archery Shooter.
Devoted father of the late Alan Hopple, Ann Miller and Glen Hopple. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He had 5 siblings.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. With a Service during the evening viewing at 7:30 PM.
