James Clark Dicken, II, age 74, of Westminster, MD., died Saturday, February 15, 2025, at his home.
He was born September 6, 1950, in Cumberland, MD, the son of the late James Clark Dicken, Sr., and the late Virginia Dicken (nee Smallwood).
James was the husband of Suzanne M. Dicken (nee Petras), married October 30, 1971, at Holy Family R.C. Church in Randallstown.
He graduated from Fort Hill High School in Cumberland, MD in 1968 and RETS Electronics Technology in 1971; he served in the Army National Guard. He managed Computers at the ProTech.; received awards for MAI/Sorbus Magna Award for Excellence and Top Maintenance Technician for Baltimore, Washington, and Virginia District; he enjoyed the outdoors and fixing things.
He is survived by his son Matthew Dicken and daughter Lauren Dicken both of Westminster; and grandchildren Kate Dicken and Cory Dicken both of Hanover, PA; also survived by sister Bonnie Lapidario and brother John Dicken and preceded in death by his sister Sally Goss.
Gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM and 12:00 noon with a Celebration of Life at 12:00 Noon at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School) with a luncheon to follow at the Queen Room at the Funeral Home.
