James Duerling

James R. Duerling 85 of Hampstead, MD, died Thursday January 12, 2012 at his home in Hampstead, MD. He was the spouse of the late Ruby L. Boughan Duerling. He was born April 14, 1926 in Baltimore, MD. The son of the late Martin B. Duerling and late Nellie Viola (Sentz) Duerling. He worked for Iron Worker Local #16 and was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Reisterstown Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his sister Virginia Sellers. Surviving are Sons and Daughter-in-laws Robert L. and Karen Duerling of Westminster, C. Scott and Karin Duerling of Red Lion PA. Five Grandchildren and one Great-grandchild. Friends may call Sunday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 where services will take place Monday January 16, 2012 at 11 AM. Interment Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
