James George

James E. “Big Dog” George 66 of Westminster, died unexpectedly Tuesday June 7, 2011 at GBMC Hospital in Baltimore. He was born June 4, 1945 to Mary E. (Caldwell) George and the late Robert D. George of Woodsboro, MD. He served as a Seabee in the United States Navy. He retired after 20 years of Service. He was the loving husband of 42 years to Sherian J.(Duncan) George of Westminster, MD He also was a loving father to Tracy L George of Westminster, Heather D. Peterman of Westminster and Pop Pop to Kiele B. George-Peterman. Surviving in addition are 3 brothers Bruce A. George of Dundalk, Terry T. George of Woodsboro and John W. George of MD. Funeral Services will be held Friday June 10, 2011 11 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield, MD 21784. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD The Family will receive friends on Thursday June 9, 2011 6 to 9 PM.
