James Harrison

James H. “Jim” Harrison, age 71, of Romney, West Virginia, formerly of Winfield, MD, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Hampshire Center Nursing Home in Romney, West Virginia. He was born March 28, 1939 in Howard County, Daisy, Maryland the son of the late Ira Harrison and the late Mamie Unglesbee Harrison . He was the husband of Rosalie Harrison (nee Riggleman). He was a retired Building Service Manager for Montgomery County School Board. He was the father of Greg Harrison of Romney, West Virginia and Tammy Hensley of Westminster, MD, Dwayne Harrison of Berkley Springs, West Virginia and Debbie Eckard of Westminster. He was the brother of Gilbert Harrison of Eldersburg, Charlotte L. Sirk of Lisbon, Eleanor Hodges of Mississippi and Shirley Duvall of Woodbine. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and very close friends especially the old “geezer”. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 10:00-12:00 noon at which time funeral will being with Rev. Chris Grella of Westminster Baptist Church officiating. Interment True Gospel Cemetery, Lisbon, MD.
