He was born on February 17,1944 in Washington, DC to the late James Taylor Hill Sr and the late Thelma Elizabeth (Middleton) Hill. He was predeceased by his brother K.P. Hill and Sister in Law Peggy Hill.
Jim was a heavy equipment operator most of his life and a welder for a good part of his life as well. Before he retired he loved having a small garden that was mostly filled with different kinds of tomatoes, planting flowers around the yard, spending time with family, going to carnivals and going to Winfield Inn. After retirement he enjoyed spending his days with his wife and family. For a good part of his life and until he wasn't able to anymore due to his health Jim loved to go to his best friend and former employer Chuck Coon's shop to shoot the breeze for hours!
Upon Jim's wishes he will be cremated and no viewings or funeral service will be held. The family will be having a Celebration of Life to remember him later this year.
