James R. Mudgett, Sr., age 80, of Sykesville, died Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Seasons Hospice in Randallstown, MD.
He was born June 19, 1935 in New York, the son of the late James A. Mudgett and the late Dorothy Kreidler Mudgett.
He was a retired LCDR USCG Reserve. He was a Retired Maryland Attorney.
He was the husband of Barbara C. Mudgett (nee Stewart).
He was the father of Deborah Mudgett, Dawn Taylor, Jim, Tom and Bill Mudgett; brother of Barbara Nye, also survived by 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
