James Schmier

James E. “Jimi” Schmier, 51 of Randallstown, MD passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022.
He was born June 17, 1970, in Maryland the son of Sondra M. Schmier (Scanlon) and the late Dennis “Bear” Schmier.
Jimi loved music especially playing guitar, fishing and spending time with his grandson. He loved animals especially his cat Rousey. He was always looking out for his friends.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his children Stephanie Hopkins, Joseph Schmier and Timothy Schmier. Devoted brother of Denise Pearre and 2 loving nephews. Also survived by his former wife Carol Schmier.
Preceded in death by his partner Jennifer Levitt.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 12 NOON to 2 PM at which time the Celebration of life service will begin at 2 PM: at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Winfield, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School). Service will be live streamed starting at 1:50 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Baltimore County1601 Nicodemus Road Reisterstown, MD 21136 or to a charity of your choice.
