Janet Naomi Moore (nee Colson), 79 of Mt. Savage, MD, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023.
She was the beloved wife of McArther Moore for 61 years and 9 months.
Janet was born June 4, 1944, in Carroll County, MD the daughter of the late Arthur Colson and the late Madeline Lowery (nee Davis).
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children Rhoda Marie Lansdowne, Robert Moore and Kenneth Moore. Also survived by her siblings Robert Colson and Jerry Colson and 2 half sisters Shirley Loveless and Kathy Tracy and a whole bunch of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two children McArthur Morre, Jr., and Mary Jane Moore and her brother Kenny Colson.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 18, 2023, from 6-8 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School). Where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 12 Noon.
Interment at Lake View Memorial Park.
