Jean J. Johnston (nee Jewell), age 82, of Mt. Airy, Md, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Lorien Nursing Home in Mt. Airy, MD.
She was born October 19, 1931 in Portsmouth, PA the daughter of the late William T. Jewell and the late Inez White Jewell.
She was the wife of Mason William Johnston of Mt. Airy.
She was a Registered Nurse for Rockville Nursing Home. She was Past honored Jobs daughters in Portsmouth and Past Bethel Guardian Jobs Daughters in Gaithersburg.
She was the mother of Susan J. Robertson of Mt. Airy, Margaret Johnston Schinkelwitz and husband Bruce of Beaverton, Oregon, and William E. Johnston and wife Donna of Walkersville.
She was the sister of the late William A. Jewell.
Also survived by 6 grandchildren.
