Jeffrey Lynn Barnes, 68 of Winfield, MD Died Monday June 25, 2012 at home after a hard fought battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was the spouse of 48 years to Sylvia Ann (Zepp) Barnes. He was born March 25, 1944 in Baltimore, MD the son of Bernice Inez (Shipley) Barnes and the late Augustus “Gus” Barnes. He was the Owner/Dealer Principle of Jeff Barnes Chevrolet. He was a member of the Westminster Elks. He was dedicated to his work. Hobbies included Tractors, Classic Cars and Farming. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are Son and Fiancé Jeffrey Scott Barnes and Joann Marchak of Mt. Airy, Son and daughter-in-law Bryan Matthew and Amy Barnes of Westminster, Daughter and Companion Stephanie Ann Barnes and Glenn Elliott of Finksburg, Brother and Sister-in-law John and Gloria Barnes of Westminster. Grandchildren Josh, Brittany, Chelsey, Gabrielle, Kyle, Allie, Hunter and Lane. Services will be conducted on Friday June 29, 2012 11 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 with the Rev. Richard Shamer of Zion UMC officiating. Interment to follow in Zion UMC Cemetery Shipley, MD. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday 12 to 3 and 6 to 9 PM.
