Joan Moore

Joan Theresa Moore, 81 of Port Orange, FL left us on July 6th, 2023, after a long battle with dementia.
She was born to the late John and Roberta Merkle in Washington DC. Joan graduated from St. Patrick’s Academy in 1960.
She lived in Columbia, MD, Port Charlotte, FL, Northport, FL, Port Orange, FL, and most recently Woodbine, MD.
Joan was predeceased by her husband, Thomas H. Moore, Jr. December 21, 2021.
She is survived by her children Cheri Dowling (John) of Woodbine, MD; Theresa Harig (Jerry) of Sparta, MI; her three grandchildren, Patrick, Ryan, and Tyler; and her siblings Joyce Bowling, Janice Merkle and John W. Merkle, III (Carol).
A memorial picnic will be held August 19th for both Joan and her husband Thomas in Woodbine, MD. For more information please email cheri.dowling@gmail.com.
