Joanne Stallings

Joanne R. Stallings, 79, a resident of Mount Airy and formerly of Pasadena from 1958-1990, died Friday, December 30, 2016 at Carroll Memorial Hospital in Westminster.
Mrs. Stallings was born in West Virginia to the late Guy and Elsie Robinson.
Mrs. Stallings graduated from Mt. Airy High School in 1955. She worked at Union Trust Bank in Pasadena from 1968-1990 as a teller and assistant manager. She formerly attended Magothy United Methodist Church and was a current member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Mt. Airy. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking for her family and traveling to Ocean City.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stallings is preceded in death by her husband Harold H. Stallings, brothers Carroll Robinson, Lawson Robinson, Edward Robinson, sisters Marjorie VanSant and her husband Hanford and Mary Ruth Wiant.
Mrs. Stallings is survived by her daughter Sandra H. Stallings of Mt. Airy and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday, January 2, from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Burrier Queen Funeral Home, 1212 West Old Liberty Road, Winfield, MD 21784
Services will be held Tuesday, January 3, at 12:00 pm at Burrier Queen Funeral Home. Interment at Crestlawn Memorial Garden.
