Joel S. Chewning (nee Storie), age 81, of New Windsor, formerly of Woodlawn died Sunday August 1, 2004 surrounded by her loving family at Westminster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Westminster.
She was born May 26, 1923 in Dayton, TN.
She was a Legal Secretary since graduating from High School. She was employed by Venable, Batcher, and Howard prior to her retirement in 1988.
She was the wife of Hershel F. Chewning of New Windsor-living, married in November 1942.
She was the mother of Stephen E. Chewning and his wife Donna of New Windsor.
Loving grandmother of two granddaughters Kristine Poorman and Keri Aponte and survived also by two great grandsons Will and Tyler.
Graveside Service and Inurnment will be on Tuesday August 3, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Woodlawn, MD, officiating by Fr. John Wilbur of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Lisbon
