John Bozzuto
September 29, 1959 — February 6, 2023
John Michael Bozzuto, Jr., 63, formerly of Woodstock, MD and most recently of the Eastern Seaboard, completed his earthly voyage and crossed into the ocean of heaven on Monday February 6, 2023. John was the beloved husband of Evangeline Hathaway Bozzuto for 38 years.
He was born on September 29, 1959 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Theresa Bozzuto and the late John Michael Bozzuto, Sr. He graduated from Point Loma University with a bachelor’s degree in Business. John worked as a Secret Service Agent for 26 years before retiring. He enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, woodworking and was a grill master. John had a passion for helping others and was involved with the Builders for Christ group building churches.
Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are his two children Jessica Bozzuto-Seward and husband Donald and John Phillip Bozzuto; loving grandfather of Jourdan Colella and Donny Seward. John is also survived by his siblings Mary Bozzuto Blount and Michael Bozzuto as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Elders Baptist Church 1216 Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784. Where funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 11 AM. Funeral Service will be live streamed at https://eldersbaptist.org/livestream.
