John Fitzberger

John Edward Fitzberger, 90, of Gastonia, NC passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, while on Vacation with family in Cherry Grove, NC. Born January 10, 1934, in Mt. Washington, MD he was the son of the late Raymond Fitzberger and Ruth Wheatley Fitzberger. He was the husband of the late Lula May Fitzberger.
He was an Electrical Safety Consultant and an Industrial Electrical engineer; he was a graduate of John’s Hopkins University with a degree in electrical engineering.
Surviving are his children Stephen Fitzberger (Diane) of Catonsville, MD and David Fitzberger (Carolyn) of Gastonia, NC and grandchildren Joshua, Grant, Casey and Johnathan Fitzberger.
Friends may call from 2-4 PM on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School); where funeral service will be held on Monday September 9, 2024, at 11 AM.
Interment at Lake View Memorial Park.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Johns home church, First ARP Church, 317 S. Chester St. Gastonia, NC 28052 at 1:30 PM
