John Goodwin

John “Stanley” Goodwin 68 of Winfield, MD, died Friday August 22, 2008 at Carroll Hospital Center. He was the spouse of the Lois (Wagner) Goodwin of Winfield. He was born January 10, 1940 in Frederick, MD the son of C. Marie Goodwin and the late Harold Goodwin. Most recently he was retired from Joseph Gartland Plumbing. He was a US Army Veteran and a Member of American Legion Sykesville Memorial Post 223 and a member of Grace Fellowship Chapel. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are Daughter Kathi Lucas of GA, Son John Steven Spaulding of Winfield, Daughter Linda Aucompaugh of New York Son Martin Scott Goodwin of NY. 1 Step-daughter, 3 Step-sons and 3 step-grandsons Sister and Brother-in-law Barbara and Norman Zepp of Woodbine, Nephew Eddie Zepp of Winfield and Niece Michelle Hicks of Westminster. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son Michael a. Spaulding. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday August 27, 2008 11 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 with Rev. Ralph Nies of Grace Fellowship Chapel officiating Interment to follow in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
