John William Hatfield, Jr., 69 of Scranton, PA formerly of Woodbine, MD; passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018.
He was born June 25, 1948, in Woodbine, MD the son of Eleanor Mae (nee Harrison) Hodges of Mississippi & the late John W. Hatfield, Sr.
John worked as a LPN at Springfield State Hospital. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was an avid Oriole and Raven Fan; also enjoyed reading the bible and was studying to be a minister.
He is survived by his sister Barbara & Tom Blanton, Sr of Woodbine and sister Patricia Sue & John C. Dell of Westminster. Also survived by his nephew Thomas Blanton, Jr and his niece Crystal Sue Caltrider, his great-nephew Jordan Blanton, great-nieces Summer Kramer and Ashlee Blanton. Great-great niece Kaylee Caltrider and great-great nephew Kayden Caltrider.
Friends and family may call on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School). The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 11 AM.
