John Thomas Keller, age 83, of Taneytown, Maryland, died Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster, Maryland.
John was born July 28, 1937 in Hampden, Baltimore, Maryland, the son of the late Thomas Prescott Keller and the late Pauline Elizabeth Keller (nee Cornwell).
He was the husband of Barbara Ann Keller (nee Combs).
He worked for C & P Telephone Co. as a cable splicer and locator; Served in the National Guard; enjoyed racing Pigeons, avid Baltimore Colts and Baltimore Ravens Fan and Baltimore Orioles Fan.
Surviving in addition to his wife are daughter Joanne Powell and husband John; stepchildren Shelley Ostrum and husband Ray; and Steven Colson; also survived by 6 grandsons and 6 great grandchildren.
Gathering of family and friends will be held at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA-Celebration Room, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD., 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School) on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM.
MILITARY HONORS WILL BE AT 5:30 PM
