John Maehl

John David Maehl, age 69, of Leesburg, Florida, formerly of Mt. Airy, Md, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Villages Hospice House in the Villages, Florida. He was born April 20, 1941 in St. Louis, MO the son of the late Elmore Frank Maehl and the late Mary Virginia Maehl (nee Metcalf). He was the husband of Mary Irene Maehl (nee Buxton). He was employed by AT & T as a project manager for 28 years, He served in the US Air Force from 1961-1965. He graduated from University of Maryland BS AD. He was the father of Wanda Finn of Apopka, FL, Tina Roberts of French Creek, West Virginia, Chris Maehl of Cape Coral, FL. Dear brother of Nancy Maehl of Long Island, NY, Rae Ann Sheard of Springfield, VA and Half-sister Suzanne Binegar of Dayton, Ohio. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Graveside Service and interment will be held Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Providence Cemetery in Kemptown, MD with the Rev. Wallace “Bud” Lusk of Mt. Airy, MD officiating.
