John David McKinney, 88 of Taneytown, MD passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born April 8, 1934, in Bakersville, NC the son of the late Frank McKinney and the late Margaret McKinney.
John enjoyed hunting, gardening, farming and carpentry. He especially loved his coon hounds and his guns.
He is survived by his daughter, Wanda DeAngelis and her husband Salvatore, grandchildren, Alexander DeAngelis, Gabriella ‘Lucy’ DeAngelis and Devin Wilt, Vince DeAngelis and Brooklyn Lewis, their two children Chesney Jo and John David. Also survived by his Siblings Charles E. McKinney, Weiss E. McKinney and Tillie McKinney.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 4, 2022 at 3:00PM in Fork Mountain Baptist Church with Reverend John McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the McKinney Cemetery.
