Mr. John Patrick Rainey, Jr., of Westminster, MD, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at the Dove House in Westminster, MD. He was the spouse of Elizabeth May (Volland)Rainey of Westminster. Mr. Rainey was born September 13, 1921 in the Baltimore, MD the son of the late John P. Rainey, Sr. and Laura (Pickering ) Rainey. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Catholic Prayers will be said on Tuesday July 22, 2008 9:15 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 with interment to follow in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD . The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday July 17, 2008 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
