John Schneider, age 92, of Woodbine, formerly of Highland, MD, died, Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
He was born May 29, 1924 in St. George, Hungary, the son of the late Joseph Schneider and the late Anna Metelko Schneider.
He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Kantor Schneider.
Father of Larry & Renee Schneider, Kenneth & Debbie Schneider, Joanne King and James, Thomas Schneider, brother of the late Joseph Schneider, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Upon moving to Carroll County, John became a father to Marsha Sadler, grandfather to her 8 children, and a great grandfather to their 12 children; He also left behind his best friend of 26 years, Ruby Clement and other family and friends.
He retired from Review and Herald Publishing as a Printer; was a part time employee at Pap Pap’s Pizza; member of Winfield Bible Chapel, and a Veteran of the Canadian Navy.
