John E. Whitcomb, age 80, of Sykesville, MD., died Thursday, November 24, 2022, at BridgingLife in Westminster, MD.
He was the spouse of 38 years to Catherine M. Whitcomb (nee Schaffer).
John was born in Garrison, MD, the son of the late Elwood E. Whitcomb and the late Hilda Viola Hiers.
He was a Diesel Mechanic for Peterbilt for 30 years; avid reader and Baltimore Ravens fan; and served in the US Army.
Surviving are Son: Lew Whitcomb and Special Friend Vickie Taylor, significant other Carolyn Curtis; brothers Stanley Garber and sister-in-law Augusta Garber; and several nieces and nephews. predeceased by Grandson Craig Whitcomb.
