Joseph Wisniewski

Joseph Wisniewski (PAPA Joe) 70 of Westminster. Died February 14, 2015 at Carroll Hospital Center surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Mary and Stanislaus Wisniewski. He was born December 25, 1944 in Baltimore, MD. He was married to Joan Marie Wisniewski nee(Coffman) for 41 years. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Baltimore County and a Patient Client Driver for Springfield State Hospital. He retired in 2007 and enjoyed tinkering with lawn mowers and lawn equipment. He loved feeding the birds and sitting on his bench and waving to all his friends and neighbors who tooted as they went by. He also enjoyed talking to all the bicyclists, dog walkers and joggers. He went to South Carroll Senior Center several days a week. Surviving in addition to his wife Joan are his Children; Anita Kelly Barnstein, Joseph P and wife Rogelia Wisniewski , Thomas R and wife Kim Wisniewski, Jason Wisniewski. Sister Helen Peters. Grandchildren; Lindsey Barnstein, Ethan, Joseph(Paco) and Olivia (Livvy) Wisniewski. Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by Brothers; Stanislaus (Stouch) and John Wisniewski and Sisters Lillian Lloyd and Anna Brayden .
A Gathering of Friends will take place Thursday, February 19, 2015 4 to 6 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD beside (S. Carroll High) With Catholic Prayers to follow at 6PM at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to help defer funeral costs to Burrier-Queen Funeral Home.
