Joyce Elaine Jones, 67 of New Windsor, MD passed away at her home on June 25, 2017.
She was born in Edinburg, Texas on July 10, 1949 the daughter of the late O.P. Farmer, Jr. & the late Jean Holderbaum Farmer.
She was the wife of Douglas Jones.
Joyce was employed by the family business & loved to shop & travel. With her Texas twang & sense of humor, she made friends easily. She lit up the room wherever she went.
She is survived by her sister Janice & husband Jerry Sears of Valley Mills, Texas, Brother Eddie & wife Pam Farmer of Olney, Texas. Joyce is survived by her children Corwin Slone & wife Lannye of Waller, Texas and daughter Stacy Slone & partner Erin Tibbs-Slone of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Also survived by her 5 granddaughters Piper, Kylie, Taylor, Peyton & Casey.
Per Joyce’s wish’s she will be cremated and returned to her native Texas.
The family will receive friends on July 1, 2017 for a Joyce Style Sendoff Party at The House at Paradise Stables 6250 Detrick Rd. Mt. Airy, MD 21771.
