Joyce Kriete

Joyce Rosella Kriete, 76, St. Augustine, FL died Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Flagler Hospital. She was born in Letter Kenney, PA and had resided in St. Augustine for the past 25 years, moving here from Woodstock , MD. She was retired from the Social Security Administration where she had worked as a secretary and later worked for the St. Johns County School Board as a school bus aide. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, St. Augustine Humane Society and the American Kennel Club. Funeral service will be held Saturday August 22, 2009 at 12:00 PM at Granite Presbyterian Church, 10637 Old Court Road, Granite, with Rev. Doris Cowan officiating. Interment Granite Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Friday from 6-8 PM. And at the church on Saturday from 11:00-12:00 Noon. She is survived by her children, Stephanie L. “Mitzi” Galford, Taneytown, MD, Brenda Christ, Hanover, PA; two brothers, Alvin Hartman, Keymar, MD, Marlin Dean Hartman, Chambersburg, PA; and 5 grandchildren: Holly Ludwig, Jordyn Christ, Cody, Paul, Jr. and Stephanie Nicole Galford. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles “Buzz” Hartman.
