Judith E. Covell (nee Hooper), age 69, of Union Bridge, died Monday April 21, 2014 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
She was born August 27, 1944 in New Windsor, MD, the daughter of the late William David Hooper and the late Hilda Marie Garver Hooper.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Westminster Moose Lodge. She enjoyed dancing and music.
She was the mother of Darlene Long, Sandy Gilbert, Pam Covell and Richie Covell.
Survived by grandchildren: Bradley Long, Gwen Oxendine, Tiffany Covell, Travis Brannon, Aliva Covell, Lane Covell, Brantley Covell, and the late Blakely Long; great grandchildren: Leland Walker, Makenzie Gregory; also survived by longtime friend and companion Vernon (Butch) Kidd.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD, (Beside South Carroll High School) on Saturday April 26, 2014 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at which time Funeral Service will begin at 8:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Arthur Monroe officiating.
