Judy Norwood

Judy B. Norwood (nee Adkins), age 63, of Eldersburg, died Friday February 13, 2009 of University Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. She was born February 27, 1945 in Charlottesville, VA the daughter of the late Ray Adkins and the late Ida Gibson Adkins. She was a Quality Control Inspector for Chesapeake Corporation for 30 years. She was a member of Elders Baptist Church in Eldersburg. She helped with the nursery for over 20 years and helped arranging weddings and funerals at the church. She was helped with Vacation Bible School at the church. She was the wife of Doug N. Norwood. She was the mother of Kimberley Ann Norwood of Tampa, FL. She was the sister of Helen Armstrong, Mary Adkins, Ray and Horace Adkins all of Charlottesville, VA. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday February 17, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Elders Baptist Church 1216 Liberty Road Sykesville with the Rev. James Edmonson officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Baltimore, MD. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Sunday from 2-4 only and Monday 7-9 PM only.
