Larry “Wayne" Pickett, 58 of Ijamsville, MD formerly of Woodbine, died Tuesday September 6, 2005at his home in Ijamsville, MD
He was the son of the late Lawrence E. Pickett and the late J. Doris Pickett
Mr. Pickett was employed as a painter for Nickoles and Son. He was retired from Super Fresh in Frederick where he was the Seafood manager for 9 years.
He was a member of the NRA and loved hunting and fishing. At a younger age he liked to drag race and was a member of the Road Runner Club.
He was survived by Son: Michael Wayne Pickett of Hot Springs , Arkansas
Daughter: Brandi Leigh Pickett of Hot Springs , Arkansas Sister: Linda Reed of Washington DC Sister: Gail Reed and husband Ed Reed of Woodbine
Niece and nephew: Chuck Carroll of Woodbine and Judy Lynn Carroll of Winfield
Great-Niece: Rachel Reed of Woodbine, MD
Funeral Services will be held Friday September 9, 2005 2:00 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield , MD 21784
Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park , Sykesville , Md
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
