Laura Emma Wheeler (nee Gaither), age 83, of Westminster, died Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Lorien Nursing Home in Mt. Airy, MD.
She was born January 8, 1931 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late James Earl Gaither and the late Laura Harrison Wheeler.
She worked for Schumacher & Seiler for 25 years at their Ellicott City location as an office manager. She volunteered at Carroll Hospital Center for 17 years in the Gift Shop.
She was the wife of the late- Gus Wheeler.
She was the mother of David E. Wheeler of Mt. Airy and Donald G. Wheeler and wife Tracey of Sykesville.
Grandmother of Jennifer, Jamie and Michael.
