Leila Kelly

Leila M. Kelly (nee Elton), age 74, of Westminster, Died Sunday July 15, 2012 at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster, MD. She was born August 23, 1937 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Whilemina (Schmidt) Elton and the late Harry Elton. She was the wife of Charles E. Kelly for 53 years. Mrs. Kelly was a homemaker and farmer. She served in the US Navy for 18 months, she was an active member of Bethesda U.M. Church in Sykesville, and she enjoyed crafts. Survived by Daughter and Son-in-law Lucinda and Lloyd Ludy, Son and Daughter-in-law Daniel and Melvina Kelly, Son and Daughter-in-law Leroy and Paula Kelly; grandmother of Patricia and Jonathon Shaffner, Shannon and Kristofer Tidman, Charles Ludy, Sean Kelly and Cora Krynick. Predeceased by daughter the late Sharon Kelly. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, (Beside South Carroll High School) Sykesville, MD on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Bethesda U.M. Church, 328 N. Klee Mill Road, Sykesville, with the Rev. Taysie Phillips officiating. Interment Bethesda U.M. Church Cemetery, Sykesville, MD.
