Leonard Barringer

Leonard Paul Barringer (Butch) peacefully passed away on Sunday, Oct 11, 2020 at the age of 64, at home, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Butch was born August 4, 1956 in Pittsburg, PA the son of Mary M Barringer (Dindak) and the late Leonard W Barringer.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Barringer (Candela), his daughter Wendy Barringer, two grandsons Austin and Chase Weippert, his son John Barringer, wife Nikkie and future grandson, as well as his step-son Richard Willman, wife Marayia and two step granddaughters (Kayleigh and Emily) and late step daughter Stephanie Willman, along with two sisters, Kathy Finch, husband Phil Finch, and Mary Sadowyj, husband Myron Sadowyj, and nephew Jon Sadowyj and niece Lauren Marshall, husband Blaine Marshall. He is also survived by his beloved cats.
He was a very caring and giving man, he always thought of the other person and always took stray animals, especially cats, into his home. He was a fan of football, enthusiastically cheering on the Pittsburg Steelers each season. He enjoyed fishing. He also very much enjoyed spending time landscaping his property and undoubtedly treasured his time spent outdoors.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday 27 Oct, 2020 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM; with a Catholic Prayer Service at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home; Social Distancing and masks are required.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to ASPCA or just to do something nice for someone else in Butch's memory.
