Leslie Thornburg

Leslie Ann Thornburg, 57, of Mt. Airy, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. She was born October 21, 1954 in Augusta, Georgia, the daughter of Harold D. Thornburg of Mt. Airy and the late Margaret C. “Peggy” Thornburg (nee Cochran). She was a librarian/school teacher in the Virginia School System. She enjoyed the outdoors and animals. She was the mother of Matthew P. Thornburg. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Monday from 6-8 PM. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Calvary U.M. Church, 403 S. Main Street, Mt. Airy, with the Rev. Dennis Yocum officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt.
