Linda Stitely

Linda Jean (Shafer) Stitely 58 of Mt. Airy, MD, died Monday June 23, 2008 at Carroll Hospital Center. She was the spouse of Ernest Leroy Stitely of Mt. Airy. Mrs. Stitely was born November 16, 1949 in Middletown, MD the daughter of the late Meredith R. Shafer and Emogene Fogle She was a homemaker. Other hobbies included Cross Stitch and Gardening. Surviving in addition to her husband are Children: Ernest Leroy Stitely, Jr. and Randy Matthew Stitely. Brothers and Sisters; Steve Hinton, Carolyn Stone, Emory Shafer, Barbara and brother-in-law Stan Man, Gary and sister-in-law Debbie Shafer, Doug and sister-in-law Vanessa Orrison and Debbie and brother-in-law Ron Barkdoll. Funeral Services will be Thursday June 26, 2008 12 Noon at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 with viewing from 10 until time of service officiating Wallace “Bud” Lusk of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy, MD.
