Lois Marie Gist (nee Fleming), age 86, of Woodbine, died Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at her home.
She was born March 16,1935 in Woodbine, MD; the daughter of the late Walter O. Fleming and the late Lillian May Fleming (nee Pickett).
She was the wife of Tommy Gist of Woodbine, MD they were married 67 years and it would have been 68 on June 28th..
She was a homemaker; enjoyed spending time with her family and at her Rehoboth Beach home.
She was the mother of Denise Maskell and husband Kevin and Sandy McElroy and husband Jim.
Sister of Ethel Conaway of Sykesville and the late W. Russell Fleming; grandchildren Thomas Maskell and wife Jennifer, Daniel, Matthew, and Mark Maskell; Jessica Fandel and husband Brandon, and Jimmy McElroy, great grandchildren Connor McElroy, Jacksyn, Cheyenne and Emersyn Fandel; Annabelle McElroy; Amelia and Theodore Maskell.

Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School) on Monday from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM; where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 10:00 AM with Rev. H. Wallace “Wally” Webster of Mt. Airy Bible Church in Mt. Airy officiating.
Interment Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Woodbine, MD.
