Lowell Knight

Lowell Thomas Knight, age 76, of Woodbine, Died Friday, December 17, 2010, at Gilchrist Hospice Center in Towson, MD. He was born July 11, 1934 in Virginia. He was the son of the late Everett Knight and the late Cigourney Morris Knight. He was the owner and tree surgeon for Knight’s Tree Service. He served in the US Navy. He was a member of Morgan Chapel U.M. Church in Woodbine. He enjoyed playing cards. He loved auctions and antiques and was very interested in Landscaping and loved his family and grandchildren. He was the husband of the late Novella Virginia Knight (nee Grimes). He was the father of Patricia Gardener of Mt. Vernon, Maine and Craig Knight of Baltimore. He was the brother of the late Everett Knight. He was the grandfather of Jason Gardner and great grandfather of Thomas William Gardner both of Taylorsville. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Tuesday from 6-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Morgan Chapel U.M. Church with the Rev. Arthur Monroe in Woodbine officiating. Private interment.
