Lucille Kohler Parrish (nee Wells), age 99, formerly of Woodbine, died Friday, June 6, 2014 at Indian Oaks Living Center in Harker Heights, Texas.
She was born August 29, 1914 in Richmond, VA, the daughter of the late Hezekiah Wells and the late Grace Saville Wells (nee Kohler).
She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Parrish, Sr..
She was a homemaker. She also worked for the Prince George County helping with seniors. She was a Methodist Lay Leader and Mission worker and a Sunday School Teacher.
She was the mother of Joseph W. Parrish, Jr. and wife Fay of Killeen, Texas, and the late Thomas Earl Parrish, Sr.
She was the grandmother of Troy Parrish & wife Belinda, Timothy Parrish and wife Maria, Terry Parrish and wife Kristel, Thomas E. Parrish, Jr. and wife Heather and Cindy Cooke & husband Eric.
Also survived by daughter in law Sherry Parrish, numerous great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD (Beside South Carroll High School) on Wednesday, June 11th from 7-9 PM; where Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Mr. Troy Parrish officiating.
Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
