Lucille Kamka “Lucy” Smith, age 96, of Ellicott City, MD., died Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at her home.

She was born November 4, 1927, in Baltimore, MD., the daughter of the late Christian Frederick Kamka and the late Annabelle Sybal Kamka (nee Wienecke).

She was the wife of the late William Bryce Smith.

She was a Dental Assistant for Dr. Bryce Smith for 30 years; a member of The Three Arts Club of Homeland and the American Dental Assistants Association.

She was the mother of Jan F. Nethen of Darlington, MD, Claire Nethen Hetrick and Husband Newton B. Hetrick of Ellicott City, MD, and Gary Kamka Nethen of White Hall, MD; 7 grandchildren: Megan Erickson, Kelly Raudenbush, Erin Hamson, Hayley Beirne, Corey Nethen, Jack Nethen, Haven Duffey; 11 great grandchildren: Maddie Fowler, Abigail Erickson, Evan Raudenbush, Ashlyn Raudenbush, Andrew Raudenbush, Lydia Raudenbush, Bohdan Hamson, Audrey Hamson, Thatcher Hamson, Benjiman Beirne, and Brooks Beirne; Also she was predeceased by brother Christian F. Kamka And sisters Thelma K. Long and LaVerne M. Grove.

Inurnment will be at Druid Ridge Cemetery in Pikesville, MD. at a later date.

Memorial Service will be held at The Three Arts Club of Homeland, 4 Wyndhurst Ave., Baltimore, MD 21210; on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 3:00 PM-6:00 PM.
