Lutie Shade

Lutie “Cookie” E. Shade (nee Minor), age 70, of Granite, MD, died Monday, October 22, 2012 at Emeritus Senior Living in Pikesville, MD. She was born on March 11, 1942 in Brooklyn, Maryland the daughter of the late George Minor and the late Lutie Giles Minor. She was the wife of the late Henry C. Shade, Sr. She was a Hairdresser. She was a member of the Eastern Star #100 Towson and a member of Bou-tem-sci Club of Baltimore. She loved bowling, crocheting, cooking and traveling. Mother of Dolly Link and husband Keith and Gary W. Shade. Also survived by 4 grandchildren. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD (Beside South Carroll High School) on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM; where funeral service will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Judith A. Cobb of Ascension Lutheran Church in Towson, MD officiating. Interment will be in Granite Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Granite, MD. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to: ALS.
