M. Dorsey

M. Katherine Dorsey (nee Lowman), age 91, of Baltimore, died Sunday May 3, 2009 at her home. She was born December 17, 1917 in Woodbine, MD the daughter of the late John Lowman and the late Fannie Berry Lowman. She was the wife of the late John A. Dorsey. She retired from transport patient services at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. She was a member of White Rock U.M. Church in Sykesville and she loved visiting family and friends. She is survived by four nieces; Corine “Teets” Jones, Martha Cook, Estelle Snowden and Laurease Richardson. Also survived by hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call at the White Rock U.M. Church, 6300 White Rock Road, Sykesville on Friday May 8, 2009 from 11:00-12:00 noon at which time service will begin at the church. Interment White Rock U.M. Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield, MD 21784 to defray funeral cost.
