Mabel Catherine Horton (nee Fritz), 73, of Mt. Airy, MD died July 13, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
She was the wife of George Horton. They were married for 54 years.
She was born October 11, 1943 in Frederick County, MD
Mrs. Horton was the daughter of the late Harry B. Fritz and late Irene C. Fritz (nee Duvall).
Mrs. Horton is survived by her 2 daughters Cathy Wright and Brenda Horton. She was also the beloved grandmother of Katie Schlegel and husband Justin; great-grandmother of Peyton and Grace Schlegel.
She enjoyed spending time with her family. She would always be there for everyone else’s needs before she would her own. She was a seamstress.
