Manley “Jim” Clagett, age 74, of New Windsor died January,11, 2018 at home surrounded by his family after an illness.
Jim was the spouse of Sherry Banks-Clagett.
Jimmy was born April 29, 1943, in Randallstown Maryland.The son of Manley Mason Clagett Sr. and Mildred Holbrook- Clagett.
Jimmy was a retired Farmer, Carpenter, and Machine Operator.
Jim was an avid Hunter, crabber, wine maker, craftsman, and master carpenter. He was a lifelong family man and provider. He had a love of agriculture and maintained a garden, fruit trees/bushes, and livestock.
In addition to his wife, Sherry of fifty years, are his daughters, Kelly Clagett-Garvick of Westminster and Tracy Clagett-Brosenne of New Windsor. Son-in-Laws, Michael Garvick and David Brosenne. Grandchildren, Kody Garvick, Emily Gamber, James Garvick, Kathleen Brosenne, and Nichole Brosenne. Sisters, Linda Riley of Randallstown, Geraldine Ruth of York, and Brother Bucker Clagett formally of Frederick, many nieces, nephews, cousins and all those that “Mr. Jim” opened his home and dinner table too that he considered his “kids”.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School). Where the Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 11 AM.
Interment Lake View Memorial Park.
