Margaret “Anne” Fink, 75 of Westminster, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Sinai Hospital. Born on July 15, 1946, in Wytheville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Riley Howard Guynn and Margaret Tharon (Hurst) Guynn. Anne was the wife of 21 years to Alan R. Fink.
Anne lived her lifelong dream of becoming an RN. She worked at various facilities, including Johns Hopkins, Norfolk General, Springfield, Shepherd Pratt, Villa St. Michael, and Providence Adult Medical Day Care. She enjoyed helping with church activities including singing in the choir, being a lector, Christmas Bazaar, Fallfest and Top of the Hill. Anne also enjoyed eating tasty food, traveling, cruising, casinos, reading and sightseeing.
In addition to her parents, Anne was predeceased by brothers, Jesse Guynn and David Guynn, numerous aunts, and uncles, and her first husband, Warren Charles Kershaw.
Besides her husband, Anne is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Hammer (Michael), sister Eveline Shipley (George), nephew Jason Shipley (Melissa), Matthew Shipley, Jerome Guynn and Sierra Guynn (Greg Lewis) She is also survived by a grandniece, Natalie Shipley, and grandnephew, Riley Shipley.
The family asks that you wear masks for the viewings and funeral. Viewings will be held Thursday, February 3, 2022, 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD (beside S. Carroll High). A Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 4, 2022, 11:30 AM at Calvary Lutheran Church 16151 Old Frederick Rd. Mt. Airy, MD 21771.
