Margaret King

Margaret V. “Auntie” King, 69 of Westminster died Sunday April 19, 2009 after a long illness due to a heart condition. She was born March 22, 1940 in Lewisdale, MD. She was the daughter of the late William and Annie Lyles. In later years she was a resident of Carroll County living in both Eldersburg and Westminster. She had several different occupations but spent her later years as a caregiver for longtime companion the late Herman Costley, Sr. Surviving are brother William Lyles, Jr. of Germantown, Sisters Gretchen Chase of Germantown and Ricki and husband Arthur Mays of South Carolina. Also a host of nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by Sister Patricia Howard and step mother Elsie Howard. Funeral Services will be Friday April 24, 2009 7:00 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory , P.A., 1212 West Old Liberty RD Winfield, MD 21784 with the family receiving friends at 6pm until time of service.
