Margaret Ann Koontz (nee Collett), age 97 of Sykesville, Md formerly of Ellicott City, MD passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021, at her home.
She was the wife of the late Russell Norwood Koontz, Sr.
She was born April 3, 1924, in Ellicott City, MD the daughter of the late Frank K. Collett, Sr. and the late Cora F. Collett (nee Brown).
She was a Clerk at McDougall’s Drug Center, and as a cashier in the cafeteria at Sykesville Middle School. She loved to cook.
She is the mother of Sharon Koontz of Sykesville and the late Russell N. Koontz, Jr.
She is the sister of the late Mary Grace Collett-Truitt, late William Franklin Collett, late Thomas Woodrow Collett, late Arthur Kenneth Collett, late Catherine Estella Miller, and Frank Keith Collett, Jr.
Inurnment will be Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 2 PM at Lake View Memorial Park 2724 Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784.
