Daughter of the late Herbert and late Margaret (Schwarzkoff) Carter
She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Devoted mother of Carol (Tom) Moore, Loretta (Gary) Rothschild, Peggy (Mike) McGregor, Marty (Carolyn) Schmitt, II, Tim (Melissa) Schmitt, Tina Schmitt(Robert Borealo)
Loving grandmother of Chris (Tina), Tom (Emily), Tony, Dan, Kayla (Hec), Nicole (Andrew), Chandler, Kristi and Alex. Also survived by dear friends Shirley and Jesse Painter, Verta Brown and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sister Rosemary Sappington and brother Thomas Carter.
The family will receive friends Sunday, September 18, 2022 2PM to 4 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784 , Where Catholic Prayers will be said Monday, September 19, 2022 11 AM. With a reception to follow in the funeral home’s Multi-purpose room.
