Margaret L. Thompson, 92 of Woodbine
After battling an extended illness, our beloved Margaret "Narnie" Thompson passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 24, 2017. Narnie was born on April 30, 1925, to the late Charles and Myrtle Harrison and had three siblings, two of whom preceded her in death, Paul Harrison, and Robert Harrison. Narnie began her career at the Aberdeen Proving Ground and continued to work for the federal government as a secretary for more than thirty years. Narnie was a devoted mother, as well as grandmother. Narnie leaves behind her daughter, Candy Thompson and her husband, Richard Shapiro; Sister Marie Fogle (Richard Fogle); grandchild Lindsey Zito and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was well known for her love for strawberries, her generous spirit, her particular nature, and her ability to bake the best pies in all of Woodbine.
